Second Year supporting Leicester Pride

It has been great to work with the Leicester Pride team again this year on their two annual events: The Leicester Pride Ball at The City Rooms in Leicester and the Pride Festival in Victoria Park in Leicester.
Our EasyFlex 6 screen was used as a backdrop to some amazing acts at both events (including Lisa Lashes and Union J)  and it was reported that the Festival had the largest number of people attending this year!

Wicked Hathern Fest

The Wicked Hathern Fest music festival in Leicestershire is a fast growing event that last year boasted 'Martha Reeves and the Vandellas' as their headline group and this year 'The Hoosiers' and 'Toploader.'

The sun shone, ALL the bands were excellent! and feedback from families and visitors was brilliant.

We loved the way we were able to use our oh-so-versatile EasyFlex 6 screen panels to create two banners for the main stage that displayed information, advertisements and graphics for the bands that performed.

A great weekend all round - we had a ball! If you didn't catch it this year check them out for next.

Create Expo

Create Theatre in Mansfield hold their annual Create Expo every year to showcase their students BA work and draw in speakers from across the globe to talk about their expertise across a range of creative media.

This year, they asked us to be involved in the event by providing all our screens to show the work and presentations on. We even took along our EasyFlex 6 Clear screen which was a huge success.

Thanks to everyone involved for a great day and we look forward to working with you again next year.

The Upstagers’ performance of ‘Starlight Express’

This has been one of our most exciting theatre ventures to date, working with the Upstagers Theatre Company in Ilkley for their epic production of “Starlight Express.’

They hired in 10 panels of our EasyFlex 6 screen to create a 6m wide backdrop for the action and it looked impressive to say the least!

Well deserved review all round for a visually stunning production.

Rainbows Bubble Rush Derby

Rainbows Hospice for children and young people is a charity very close to our hearts here in Loughborough and this is the second year we will be supporting them with their fundraising events.

Saturday 8th saw their first Bubble Rush charity run of the year at Markeaton Park in Derby. The sun shone for the runners and there was a real family feel to the day. We are looking forward to providing screens for their next two events in September at Abbey Park Leicester and November at Leicester Racecourse in Oadby.

If you fancy joining in the next Bubble Rush or want to now how you can support the amazing work they do, then go to their website @ https://www.rainbows.co.uk

The Festival Players ‘Equus’

What an amazing week we have had with the Festival Players in Loughborough and their production of the dark, psychological ‘Equus.’ They used a 2m EasyFlex 3 screen this time, suspended from the fly bar above their set and used it to enhance the action on stage through the imagery and video playing at strategic points throughout the play. Well done to all concerned. Rave reviews as always!

Abbey Musical Society’s Summer Show

Travelling a little further this week with our screens to the The Forum theatre Barrow for the Abbey Musical Society's Summer Show 2017 on the 4th and 5th of July. A great bunch who we are looking forward to working with again for future productions.

RAF Cosford Air Show

With a trailer packed full of screens, we headed off this week to arguably one of the biggest air show events of the year at RAF Cosford. It was a very different outing for our screens as they were used for the first time ever inside a hangar to showcase a range of videos and images to support the Space Skills Zone and the Aviation Partnership. Watch this space for photographs and videos of the event.

‘Teechers’ on tour

It’s been a great few days taking our EasyFlex 3 screen on tour with the Festival Player’s production of ‘Teechers’ from Loughborough Town Hall to the Century Theatre in Coalville. The theatre is amazing with a traditional old style theatre (and cinema style seats) to a very-welcome-in-this-heat air conditioned foyer. Thank you to all the people who came to support the performances and look out for other events at the Century by visiting www.centurytheatre.co.uk/diary

Loughborough Rocks! 27th May – 7pm

This Saturday night at Loughborough Town Hall, bands will be battling it out to win a chance to perform at the Wicked Hathern Fest on 11th and 12th of August. Christopher Moody And The Underground Kings, Hell On Heels, Rawkus Redz, Jitterz and Novocaine have all been selected to perform and YOU the audience can select your favourite to support headliners, including The Hoosiers, Joe Lycett and We Tried Kylie.
We're hoping that our screens should provide a dynamic backdrop for each group as well as giving that X Factor touch to the live voting. Good luck to all involved!
